Danielle M. Ciniello

As an associate at Neary Law LLC, Danielle Ciniello defends clients against allegations of criminal violations in State, Federal and Municipal Courts. Danielle has zealously represented clients from all walks of life who have been charged with crimes ranging from harassment, theft, and drug offenses to more serious offenses including murder, sexual assault, and aggravated assault. Taking a “people first” approach, Danielle is committed to ensuring that her clients know they have both an advocate and a teammate.

Danielle previously served as an Assistant Deputy Public Defender with the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender, Bergen Trial Region located in Hackensack. She gained hands on experience maintaining a full post indictment case load, and was responsible for reviewing discovery, drafting motions, legal research, writing briefs, client communication, preparing direct and cross examinations and exhibits, oral in court arguments, arraignments, day-to-day statuses, violations of probation, and trials at the Superior Court level. Conversational in Spanish, Danielle also assists with interpreting interrogations and helping clients in interview settings.

While attending law school at Rutgers University, Danielle held legal internships at the Miami-Dade Office of the Public Defender and the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender. Prior to law school, Danielle was employed and/or interned with various law firms in Bergen County. When not in Court, Danielle spends her evenings at the yoga studio and her fall Saturdays adorned in scarlet and gray cheering on the Buckeyes of her beloved alma mater, The Ohio State University.
